Your local files

The converter processes selected local files in your browser. Book contents are not uploaded to a conversion server. Downloaded files remain on your device; keep the original until you have checked your conversion.

Reader notes and local storage

The reader can save bookmarks, highlights, notes and selected text excerpts in this browser's localStorage. These records can remain after closing the tab; they are separate from uploading the book for conversion. If storage is blocked or full, the reader shows a warning and changes may remain only in memory. A new import is not a guaranteed way to restore old notes, and browser storage is not a backup.

To remove saved records, clear this website's site data in your browser settings. This does not delete your original files or downloaded copies. Use a trusted browser profile for sensitive material; local processing is not a secure-delete guarantee.

Website requests

Loading the website still makes network requests for pages, scripts and other assets. The website uses Google Analytics for usage measurement. Local ebook processing does not mean that browsing the website makes no network requests.

Using URL import requests the remote file from its source. The source website may receive that request according to its own practices.

The website also uses Microsoft Clarity to understand page interactions through session replays and heatmaps. Private file-list text, metadata editors, readers and book-tool dialogs are masked in these recordings. Clarity is website analytics; local conversion itself does not upload book files to Clarity. Cookies and collection depend on Microsoft Clarity's consent requirements and browser settings.
