SUPPORTED FILES & RESPONSIBLE USE

A few things to know before you convert.

DRM limitations and guidance for converting ebooks you are entitled to use.

This page is in English. The language menu opens MOBI → EPUB converters, not translations of this page.

DRM-free files

The converter is designed for DRM-free ebooks. It does not remove digital rights management from protected purchases. A protected file may fail to convert.

Permission to convert

Use files you created, public-domain works, or documents you have permission to convert. Converting a file does not change its copyright or license.

Check the output

Document layouts and reading-device support vary. Keep the original file, inspect the converted book, and use the converter for the format your reader accepts.

Output limits

Most converters create text editions, not faithful copies of the original design. Images, fonts, links and layout can be lost. PDF export creates an image-based A4 text edition: text is not selectable or searchable. PDF input reads selectable text; scans need OCR first. CBZ uses a separate fixed-layout image workflow, not text extraction. Read the limits on the selected converter before choosing a file.

Check availability first

Each converter page shows whether that conversion is available. A listed format pair does not mean the conversion is supported. Browse converters.
